Diane Hornby
She is originally from New Orleans and moved to Florida in 1980.
While going to school at University of North Florida she took a pottery class she enjoyed so much her father made Diane her first throw wheel out of an old washing machine. She became busy with life, which move her away from clay but some years later she took a pottery class again in Gainesville, which reminded her how much fun it was to work with clay.
While setting up her first major studio, which was the old laundry room she found the new location was home of many green lizards, thus the name she chose for her business, The Green Lizard.
Diane has been demonstrating at Stephen Foster since 2008. With the help of her husband Pauly and support of her canines Fritz & Gus she teaches other to have fun with clay.
