Campfire Program Series
ON VARYING SATURDAY NIGHTS

Park Rangers will be presenting programs on several different topics including campfire basics, folk story-telling, prehistoric technology, and much more all around the glow of a campfire. 

This is an opportunity to spend time with family and friends while learning about some of Florida’s natural and cultural heritages. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair to Stephen Foster’s Campground. Parking will be available at the multi-use trail head parking area. 

The program starts at 6:00 pm and is free with paid park admission of $5.00 per car load up to 8 people!
In order to participate in this activity you

Must have the ability to follow visual and/or verbal instructions independently or with the assistance of a companion.

Must have the ability to withstand exposure to the outdoors and insects for a period of 60 minutes.

Must have the ability to traverse uneven dimly lit terrain (dusk) for up to 1 tenth of a mile independently or with the assistance of a companion.

Must be able to maneuver on walkway or uneven terrain in the evening at dusk or after sunset with little to no supplemental lighting independently or with the assistance of a companion.

Must be able to properly dispose of trash and litter that they may carry into the campground. 



These programs are free with regular park admission of $5.00 per vehicle (up to 8 people).
